Bank of America has a great student account, good luck!

Reply:It depends. It would be helpful if you posted what city or at least what state you live in.

If you want access to lots of ATM's with no fees, go with the bank you see most often in your city. (there's a Bank of America on every corner in my neighborhood).

However, Credit Unions are better overall.

Look for any bank or credit union that will give you FREE CHECKING for direct deposit. %26amp; no ATM fees.
Reply:In your case, I would go with a large, reputable, institution. In two years you're likely to want to go to college, and having the same bank in your college town will be helpful. So, look at Washington Mutual, Bank of America, and banks like those.

Having a two year reputation with your bank will help with tuition loans as well.
Reply:Commerce Bank is where I held a free student checking account. It was very easy to use and I had no problems with it. I would caution you on the Debit card. When you enroll they will offer it and it just becomes too convenient. Be Careful with you money!! Good luck.
