Is it bad to save debit card info in a document in a non-secure email account?

I've saved an email that I sent to myself, listing all of my important online banking and debit info, with the sole exception of my PIN. The email account is not secure.

Is this a dangerous idea?

ABSOLUTELY .... THAT KIND OF INFO CAN MESS U UP PIN # OR NOT ...
Reply:Firstly, your information without a PIN is worthless to a criminal in the HIGHLY unlikely event they steal your computer and are technically savvy enough to be looking for emails to raid your bank account rather than stealing a computer for a few dollars, or even less likely intercept your email.

E-mail is not an encrypted protocol so it can be read by a person personally capturing your internet traffic - VERY extremely unlikely. And they don't have the PIN...

You are FAR more likely to be ripped off by a human store clerk or a fake company or fake ATM reader.

Reply:Lets see...Debit Card and banking info (something you want to harbor safely) on an unsecured account. No, that does not sound very safe. If in doubt...wipe it out. If you must keep the info, please print out a hard copy and place that somewhere safe in your home. Even the best kept computer systems can be hacked, although the chances may be slim, but an unsecured account can only mean trouble at some point.
