What is Facebook and how do you make an account?

Hello there! Okay, I am one of those few people who also don't have an idea what Facebook is. All my friends and even some relatives want me to make an account, so could you please tell me a bit about it first? I would also like to know how you can actually set up an acount.

It's a website where you join a social network. you add your friends and you can share your photos, notes, etc. you can send messages to your friends. and you will have a profile where your friendscan see your info and pictures. Its a fun social site. You will grown to love it! All yuo have to do is go to facebook.com to set up an account. Just fill out your information. It's pretty simle. good luck!

You can customize you personal information ,express your interests ,make friends ,join groups ,and recieve updates and notifications from social groups and friends. Just follow the directions on the website to help new users like you to create a new profile.
Reply:Listen, obviously you're a few cards short of a full deck so I'm going to help you out. There's this site called Facebook and it's located at www.facebook.com . It does a pretty good job of explaining what it's about. Did you seriously come all the way to Yahoo answers to ask a question that could have been answered by just going to Facebook's site? Did you even look there? It says on the front page "SIGN UP FOR FACEBOOK." What, were you born under a rock?

Reply:i think the 1st two ppl did a good job explaining. you can also adjust your privacy settings so that only your friends can view your profile and see what you do. it's a good thing if you don't want to attract sketchy internet-stalkers :)
