Someone paid me on ebay into an account which I'd forgotten I had closed - can they get their money back/ask the bank to put it into my new account?
What happens when someone deposits money into a CLOSED ACCOUNT?
usually the transaction is refused by the bank with the closed account. Your payor should have gotten his money back. Check with your bank to be sure.
Reply:If the account was closed, it would tell him that and he would keep his money. He shouldn't have paid anything yet.
