Are footprints left when you permenantly delete your Facebook account?

I want to delete it but I want to know whether all the posts you've made on other people's profiles get deleted too...

I had a friend who deactivated her account. Her comments, gifts and posts remained, but were anonymous. Nobody cud see who they were from. There was jus an empty picture beside it!
Reply:One thing i DO know about facebook, is even if you delete your account they have rights to all of your images etc.. meaning your exposed even if you delete it.
Reply:it's the internet. nothing is ever really deleted.
